English or Australian

Just thought I'd mention something that has been annoying me and it relates to the post about the number of brits on this site. Why does hollywood insist on using American actors to play English people? This wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't all sound Australian. I know that to many people the two accents sound alike but surely they can do better. I saw oceans 11 (which was shit) and thought I was watching an Aussie using ryhming slang and then tango and cash the other night. What is even more rediculous is when they use well know actors who we all know are American so you'd think they would make sure they get it right.

However, I'm sure us brits are guilty of similar things too!
